Welcome To The Dance of Life

You're never too old to learn.....
You CAN teach an old dog new tricks....
Gratitude works...
Life is what you make it....
Happiness is a choice....
A little child shall lead them....
You snooze, you loose...
Fake it til you make it....
One day at a time....
Change doesn't come easy, but it comes if you want it to...
I am my brother's keeper....
Tomorrow's a new day
Think positive....
Pay it forward....
etc...

These are all sayings I used to roll my eyes at. That is, until I reached an age where I realized that they are absolutely true! Join me in the dance of life, where each day holds something to learn from and something to enjoy.
Notice the small stuff.....breathe it in.....and pass it on.

Irish Blessing

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Yep, I'd say that just about covers it....those people were poets. There's definitely something to be said for the gentle poetry of words. When I read the KJV of the bible or the old poets such as Whitman and Browning I am reminded that people used to actually know how to talk to one another in such a way as to communicate genuine love, appreciation and respect.

"How do I love thee? Let me count the ways...."
Or
I'd rather see you dead little girl, than to be with another man, you better keep your head little girl, or you won't know where I am .... By the Beatles

Which would you rather have spoken to you by someone who is trying to convey their love?

Today is St Patrick's Day....and every day is what you make it.

I'm home alone, dressed in a green top and jeans, green earrings, green headband, green choker, green beads, and am making an Irish Dinner, Irish Scones, and Irish decorated cup cakes.....I'm in the moment...dancing to bagpipes and Celtic music...making my day the best it can be.

What are you doing today??
